Grant Proposal Editing / ProofreadingEven the most content rich and strategically well thought out funding proposals can lose some of their luster, or worse yet, their credibility if proper attention is not paid to sentence structure, grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
But even more importantly, the proposal must be written with clarity! In the words of one Scotland's favorite authors... "The difficulty is not to write, but to write what you mean." You definitely do not want to take a chance that your proposal won't be funded because the reviewers for the funding agency do not understand the concepts being presented. This happens all too often! Over time words and ideas can become too familiar to the writer during the course of the development process. The writer can no longer recognize his/her own mistakes and assumes that the narrative makes sense. Don't Let This Happen To You! Writing Grants always insists that at least two other writers from our staff proofread and edit each of our developers' proposals before it is submitted to our clients as a final draft. Let us do the same for you. Pricing: The cost for proofreading is charged at a nominal rate of only $10 per page. We ensure that your document is thoroughly checked for grammar, punctuation and spelling by our professional staff. When we return your document, all of our suggested corrections will be annotated in the right column of each page for you to implement or delete as you choose. Editing costs are charged at $50 per hour with a one-hour minimum paid in advance. Additional time is charged by the quarter hour. As well as grammar, punctuation and spelling checks, Writing Grants will include sentence structure changes and re-writing as needed on a separate parallel document for your review.
